New “Cashless” Outpatient Treatment

We are proud to introduce the new "Cashless" service:  a new addition to the MultiCare International Health Plan for MultiCare Elite and MultiCare Premiere members with Comprehensive Cover.

What is "Cashless" service:

This service allows beneficiaries who have a MultiCare Elite and MultiCare Premiere plan with Comprehensive Cover to receive out-patient treatment without worrying about immediate payment, as this will be made directly from Universal Life to the healthcare service provider.

The process is simple and designed to offer you comfort and convenience, ensuring that your focus can remain where it should be - on your health.

How "Cashless" service works:

  • This new service requires creating an account on U connect client web portal and using the electronic membership card for identity verification.
  • All you must do is simply present your electronic membership card, which will contain the Cashless indication, as well as your ID card at the doctor’s office and receive your treatment.
  • If your doctor prescribes drugs and/or additional diagnostic tests, then you should request a copy of the claim form. Subsequently, you should submit the claim form along with the receipts for the drugs/diagnostic tests, either through U connect or directly to the Company for evaluation.
  • It is important to know that this new service includes specific treatments/medical acts and that if your treatment does not fall under these, or in case your annual out-patient limit is exhausted, Universal Life reserves the right to recover the payable amount from you.
