UniLife Volunteer Week: A step forward towards social sensitivity

In yet another step towards social sensitivity, Universal Life, within the framework of World Volunteer Day on December 5th and the Volunteer Week organized by the Pancyprian Volunteerism Coordinative Council (PVCC), proudly announced the initiative 'UniLife Volunteer Week'.

From December 4th to 8th, Universal Life employees and insurance agents participated in a variety of volunteer activities, demonstrating the company's commitment to social contribution. The range of activities included blood donation, car washing, selling used books, and preparing handicrafts and sweets to support the work of various non-profit organizations and charitable institutions.

The Head of the Human Resources Department at Universal Life, Ms. Elena Georgiadou, stated that organizing the UniLife Volunteer Week is a small contribution from our people to society and thanked everyone for embracing it with warmth and love. "With this initiative," she emphasized, "we aim to promote volunteerism and send collective messages of love and hope." She added that corporate social responsibility is an integral part of Universal Life's culture and employees, and it is the company's commitment to maintaining a reciprocal relationship with the society in which it operates and to positively contribute to improving the quality of life of our fellow human beings.
